im gasping for a breath
lifeboats in my mind
are lying motionless
echos of my thoughts
drown out my crashing tears
falling to the rocks below
im engulfed in all my fears
the though of loving you
is like the salt inside my lungs
drowning in my sorrow
to the rhythmic waves of drums
im freezing in bitter cold
and you just dont seem to care
its taken everything i am
to see you everywhere
im drowning in my emotions
an uncontrollable storm
im stuck in an endless ocean
of love struck romantic notions
in an ocean of icy woes
in gasping for my breath
lifeboats floating close
will finally rescue me.
